A Goodbye and A fresh Start: The Arrival of Dr. Panda

The arrival of Dr. Dillip Kumar Panda at SelaQui International School is the beginning of a new institutional tale.

On a personal level, the transition has been a blend of heavy-heartedness and eagerness. The emphasis on public speaking and linguistic development resonates deeply with both me and the school motto “strive to lead” as it is an integral skill to becoming an effective leader. I feel more motivated to excel not only in academics but also in sports and extracurricular pursuits. The headmaster’s visible presence around campus has fostered a sense of approachability and trust, making me feel more connected to the leadership.

Looking ahead, the school is on track for significant transformation under this new leadership. The emphasis on creating a democratic school culture, and emphasis on ethical values and patriotism, suggests that we can expect improvements in teacher-student relationships, academic outcomes, and overall school climate. The daily national anthem he has introduced is a remarkable initiative as we are reminded of respecting our nation.

I feel optimistic about this new chapter. While change was brought with a tearful farewell, it brought along opportunities for growth and renewal. With the Headmaster’s vision guiding us, I am confident that SelaQui will continue to thrive as a nurturing ground for future leaders.

I am committed to beating the best and leading the rest, ensuring that our house motto remains a lighthouse excellence and motivation for all of us.
